Armaan Kirmani is a British Actor and Director based in London. In 2011 he starred alongside Akshay Kumar in Nikhil Advani's, Patiala House as 'Jassi' for which he has received considerable critical acclaim. His Western upbringing combined with his eastern ethnicity and native fluency in Hindi, Urdu and of course English alongside his formal training at the globally prestigious institute for acting, RADA and Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares in London and Mumbai.
Armaan diversified into Film Writing (Shortcut, Film, 2009) and Direction (Project Runway, Theatre, 2010 and Soulmates, Film, 2011). He has been a Professional Teacher for over 6 years, having set up The London Tuition Centre, a coaching academy for core subjects in 2007 and having worked the Regent Learning Group for 2 years, before founding Colour Portfolio in 2011. His Directorial Debut on Film, 'Soulmates', is currently in Post Production and due to make its festival debut later in 2011. Armaan's strength as a Director has been his ability to coach many first time and experienced actors into delivering convincing performances.
His infectious enthusiasm combined with his strict approach to the commitment of the acting craft ensures that he is able to obtain meaningful performances from his actors in a short period of time.
