Colour Academy is a training institute for dramatic artists which seeks to nurture and enhance the artistic individuality of the performers of tomorrow. We seek to provide a platform for actors seeking professional employment. The aim is to prepare competent, confident and professionally committed actors with a solid base in their craft which leads to a self-fulfilling and meaningful career as a performer. Our Training provides a unique insight into the theatre and film industry around the globe, with a specific focus on Hindi Cinema where appropriate.

We have a range of courses available to suit your area of expertise and to help refine the skills of Professional Actors. We welcome actors from all ethnic backgrounds and all ranges of experiences, including first time actors. We believe that drama plays a tremendous role in promoting dialogue, tolerance and understanding of different cultural backgrounds and thus The Colour Academy seeks to develop actors who are mature, well rounded in terms of cultural context and confident of portraying characters truthfully. The only pre requisite we have is commitment to the craft and dedication to the profession.

We intend on casting our in house projects for Film (Colour Pictures) and Stage (Colour Stage) using our in house agency that is made up, predominantly of actors who have trained and worked with us in the past. We also collaborate through formal and informal partnerships with other Production Houses in the UK who also seek actors for their professional productions.

We aim to identify, train and groom raw talent into convincing characters.
